SMERC Action Governor

A task-manager-style demonstration of the SMERC idea: before software, scripts, automations, or AI agents execute high-impact actions, score whether the action should run, slow down, pause, be blocked, or be killed.

Why This Exists

Make stop, cancel, and recoverability visible

People understand the problem when a process keeps running after they pressed cancel. This demo uses the same SMERC logic for local actions: execution is allowed only when the action is understandable, containable, and recoverable enough for the current risk.

Action Intake

Choose an action or tune the risk profile.

Governor Decision

Task-manager-style posture before execution.

Awaiting action

Select an action and run it through SMERC.
